Jadu requires an experienced, enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join its expanding delivery team, initially in the role of Web Project Manager.
Primarily the role will focus on:
- Plan and proactively manage projects, or project phases through entire project lifecycle in the delivery of client facing projects
- Implementation of large organisational websites
- Work directly with clients at customer locations in both the UK and overseas
- Ensure that project objectives and deliverables are fully defined, documented, supported and agreed by the key stakeholders
- Monitor progress against plan, identifying problems and issues, applying proactive / creative business solutions
- Keep track of progress and ensuring that the project is on time and on budget
- Maintain records of expenditure, costing and billing
- Ensure that all customer documentation and training is complete before implementation
Based in Leicester the role will require regular attendance at client sites for project meetings etc. The Project Manager will be the main contact point for a client from project initiation through to project closure, the role interfacing between the Jadu Development and Design teams and the Client to ensure clear and well documented communication and minimise the risk of customer expectations being not satisfactorily met.
The role requires extensive time and project management skills as well as an ability to assume ownership and responsibility for activities ensuring that results are delivered to time, cost and quality criteria.
This role involves international travel for implementations in the Middle East, US and Australia.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required
- Expertise in using the web, underlying infrastructure and overall technology (you need to know what a webserver is!)
- Good understanding and experience with the management and delivery of the complete project life cycle for web technology led projects
- Knowledge of web technology, its deployment, benefits and drawbacks
- Ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa
- Aptitude and experience of identifying and managing business risks and issues
- Educated to degree level
- Knowledge of Agile is very advantageous
- Prince2 qualification is advantageous
