Remploy, the UK’s leading provider of specialist employment services, has launched a new, redesigned website to make it easier for disabled and disadvantaged people to search online for jobs and other Remploy services.
The new site www.remploy.co.uk was designed in partnership with the global web experience management firm Jadu and is part of a collaborative project between Remploy and Jadu’s SPACECRAFT creative agency to deliver a new digital services platform.
"Our goal was to make the information on the site accessible to everyone, including people with some of the most complex barriers to employment, such as learning disabilities," said Emily Skinner, Digital Team Lead at Remploy. "The work we have done with Jadu has enabled us to achieve that goal. The results are exceptional."

Remploy recently moved out of government ownership, with the launch of a joint venture between MAXIMUS, an international provider of health and employment services, and Remploy employees who have been given a 30 per cent stake in the new business. .
The creation of a new website with improved accessibility for disabled people is a big leap forward. This development comes at an exciting time for Remploy, as we look to expand,move into new markets, borrow to grow and pursue international opportunities.

Jadu SPACECRAFT are the creative team behind many UK Government websites such as manchester.gov.uk, highland.gov.uk, southampton.gov.uk and coventry.gov.uk as well as a number of high profile commercial sites such as norgren.com and www.imi-precision.com. Last year, Manchester City Council's website won the UK UX Awards, a Lovie award and was nominated in the Webby awards.
