Birmingham City Council, Europe's largest local authority serving over one million customers, recently implemented the Jadu Continuum digital service platform to better serve its customers.
Birmingham City Council held user testing sessions, focus groups and eye tracking experiments to ensure that the new website design and structure, as well as the user journeys were given as much attention as possible.
The newly designed website was launched late in 2016 following a six month implementation of the Jadu Continuum Web Content Management system and was soon recognised by the international Webby Awards in March 2017 and went on to win the European Lovie Awards in October 2017.
During the early phases of the project, Birmingham City Council consulted with its residents and stakeholders on the new design, which was delivered by Midlands based creative agency Spacecraft Digital. The council are now investing in the Jadu Continuum Platform (XFP & CXM) for digital customer management and 'lite' CRM.
