Finance Administrator- part time

Jadu is a leading provider of web experience management software. That means we make beautiful software for large organisations that keeps their customers and service-users happy. We're now looking for a part-time finance administrator to help keep our own finances in good order.

You will be based in our head office in Leicester and your initial hours will be 20 hours per week (for example 5 days of 4 hours), with some flexibility required around month-end and year-end. Remote workers will also be considered.

The role and responsibilities: -

  • Manage the purchase ledger

  • Process the company credit card transactions and track down missing items

  • Prepare monthly accounting reconciliations

  • Administer payment of invoices and expense claims

  • Ensure financial controls are adhered to

  • Administer day-to-day finances

  • Undertake any other duties as requested 

The successful candidate will: -

  • Be good with people in the same room or on the other side of the world

  • Have excellent organisation skills  

  • Have good general accounting knowledge; with sound debit and credit comprehension and reconciliations experience

  • Understand the basics of VAT  

  • Have experience of financial controls  

  • Be strong in MS Excel whilst also happy with Google docs

  • Have knowledge of different accounting software and cloud-based solutions (eg Xero)
