We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Office Administrator to work alongside and support our Office Manager in this fast paced and friendly working environment.

You should have a natural interest in technology and have a firm grasp of the Internet.

You will need to have good English skills, both written and verbal, and a good understanding of everyday maths.  Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, GMail), and a willingness to learn new systems.  Most importantly, you will need to be a people person with an ability to communicate effectively.

Tasks will include:

  • Managing inbound telephone calls and connecting calls to the appropriate teams

  • Greeting visitors.

  • Dealing with post (inbound and outbound)  and emails.

  • Filing.

  • Arranging UK & World travel and hotels for staff members.

  • Ordering of lunch-time buffets for meetings.

  • Stationery Ordering and other supplies

  • Booking couriers.

  • Raising Purchase orders

  • Ensure the smooth running of the office eg:

  • - Monitoring of kitchen & cleaning supplies and notifying HR/Office   

  • - Manager of the requirements.

  • - Arranging office maintenance & servicing, to comply with legislations  (Fire & Electrical Maintenance etc).

  • - Arranging and renewing of service contracts, ie cleaners, electricians, plumbers.

  • Learning about the company’s vision and available products/services

  • Participating in office meetings and taking minutes

  • Give feedback on office efficiency and suggest possible improvements


  • Either have 8 GCSE’s at Grades A-C or hold an equivalent and relevant qualification

  • Excellent aptitude for technology

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Office

  • Experience of Apple Mac is desirable - using Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) is also desirable

  • Excellent numeracy skills is essential

  • Accurate and effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong team player

  • Must be able to work to deadlines

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Ability to get things done quickly
