Jadu Bid Manager

Location: Leicester or remote

We're now looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join our growing team.  Head office is based in Leicester, along with offices in the US and Australia.  We are forward thinking when it comes to talent and does not believe location should limit the talent within the organisation. 

 

This role requires you to secure profitable and high value opportunities with large public sector organisations in the UK, USA and AU. You will have strong project, time management and organisational skills overseeing project activity relating to complex tenders and additional content related projects. You will have a disciplined and structured approach to planning and task prioritisation. Being responsible for coordinating the bid management process network and documentation; developing plans to see bids and sales projects through from beginning to end. This will include liaising with bid stakeholders, conducting research, sourcing content, creating/managing the bid library, and using bid portals. You will also provide support to the Sales Managers by logging and tracking opportunities, assisting with presentation design and content, and providing administrative support where required.


 

  • Exceptional project management skills, with great attention to detail

  • Natural aptitude for Digital Platforms and Products and Web Applications

  • Responsible for delivering compelling bids for to public clients, the individual will play a vital part in securing large, long term contracts

  • Coordinating, collating and processing clarification questions and responses which clearly articulates a sales solution

  • Monitoring and managing invitations to tender across multiple portals, responding to all relevant tenders

  • Producing content for internal governance approval

  • Working closely with Sales Managers, Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to ensure all tenders are complete with all relevant correspondence prior to deadlines

  • An understanding of financial modelling for bids of varying sizes

  • Demonstrable understanding of bid outputs and delivering multiple opportunities at any one time

  • Ensuring strict compliance with competitive tender processes

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the Public Sector, digital solutions and SaaS.  They will have will have a proven track record of developing engaging and winning bids targeting public sector contracts. They will also have experience of managing the bid process from start to finish.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a competitive bidding environment in the public sector

  • An understanding of Agile product development is a distinct advantage

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and a flair for content presentation skills

  • Experience of writing for public sector audiences is essential and the private sector would be highly advantageous

  • Strong commercial intuition with proven ability to cut-through noise and detail to isolate win themes and strong propositions

  • Experience of writing tenders describing exceptional technical solutions for customers

  • Experience of managing public sector bid and tender processes

  • Ability to navigate multiple stakeholders at all levels

  • Managing projects to strict and challenging deadlines

  • Experience working closely with engineering and accounting professionals, distilling key technical and financial information into impactful messages.
