North Warwickshire Borough Council implements Jadu Galaxies content management for effortless intranet in eight weeks

Staff at North Warwickshire Borough Council are now benefiting from an intuitive intranet, thanks to new content management platform, Jadu Galaxies.

The Jadu-powered system has been tailored to mirror the navigation structure of North Warwickshire's EDRMS (electronic document and records management system) for effortless filing, updating and accessibility.

Jadu Galaxies was installed in just two days, with a full intranet built by North Warwickshire in eight weeks. Unlike traditional intranet solutions, Jadu Galaxies gives webmasters and end-users the tools to create content themselves, slashing development time and licensing costs. This approach has enabled North Warwickshire to create a highly sophisticated, yet easy to use, intranet, with minimum disruption to staff during implementation.

Helen Hnatyszyn, IT Project Officer at North Warwickshire Borough Council, explains,

"The biggest plus for Jadu Galaxies is how easy and intuitive the system is to use, especially for non-technical users. With Jadu Galaxies, categories and subcategories with pages and links follow as simple a format as a book with chapters and an index."

Hnatyszyn continues, "The system is a fantastic repository for the most up to date internal information, with automatic links to related pages and downloadable documents within the council's infrastructure. It is also great for morale, as corporate and social events can be added on the homepage of the intranet, along with the latest news or important messages. Jadu Galaxies enables us to make these changes or additions quickly without undue interruption to the working day."

Suraj Kika, CEO at Jadu adds, "Jadu Galaxies is highly flexible to fit any organisation and North Warwickshire wanted it to mirror an existing internal product, which, of course, was not a problem."

Jadu Galaxies is a revolutionary content management system delivery platform that is unique in the global market in its abilities to cost effectively support multiple CMS driven websites within an organisation. Launched just three months ago, the system has already been adopted by Lancashire County Council, Hartlepool Borough Council and Rossendale Borough Council.
