Configuration

Configuration within Continuum CMS is XML based. The config should look like the following. Out of the box, Jadu provides a mail.xml.example config which should be copied into the same directory as mail.xml.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<system xmlns:config="http://www.jadu.co.uk/schema/config">
    <type>mail</type>
</system>

Sendmail configuration

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<system xmlns:config="http://www.jadu.co.uk/schema/config">
    <type>sendmail</type>
    <agent>/usr/bin/sendmail -bs</agent>
</system>

SMTP configuration

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<system xmlns:config="http://www.jadu.co.uk/schema/config">
    <type>smtp</type>
    <host>smtp.your.host.com</host>
    <port>487</port>
    <ssl>ssl</ssl>
    <username>foo</username>
    <password>bar</password>
</system>

Once saved, clear the cache.

Mandrill

Support for using Mandrill via SMTP is built in using the SMTP type driver. Use the following configuration:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<system xmlns:config="http://www.jadu.co.uk/schema/config">
    <type>smtp</type>
    <host>smtp.mandrillapp.com</host>
    <port>587</port>
    <ssl>ssl</ssl>
    <username>MANDRILL_USERNAME</username>
    <password>MANDRILL_PASSWORD</password>
</system>

Mailgun

Same as Mandrill but interacts with Mailgun API instead. Use the following configuration:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<system xmlns:config="http://www.jadu.co.uk/schema/config">
    <type>smtp</type>
    <host>smtp.mailgun.org</host>
    <port>587</port>
    <ssl>tls</ssl>
    <username>postmaster@YOUR_DOMAIN_NAME</username>
    <password>secret</password>
</system>

Set Reply-Path

This is controlled via a constant, Add the following to the constants.xml config:

<email_return_path>reply-path@domain.tld</email_return_path>

Set Sender

Same as Reply-Path, but sets the Sender header within the email instead. Add the following to the constants.xml config:
