Queue configuration

Queue configuration is XML based. Rename queue.xml.example as queue.xml in path/to/jadu/config to create the configuration file.

A number of options are provided for queuing:

  1. Jadu
  2. RabbitMQ
  3. Beanstalkd

Jadu

By default the application uses its own queueing functionality when queue.xml does not exist.

RabbitMQ

If you have installed RabbitMQ then you will need to use the following configuration. Fill in the blanks where required.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<system xmlns:config="http://www.jadu.co.uk/schema/config">
    <driver>rabbitmq</driver>
    <host>YOUR_HOST</host>
    <port>5672</port>
    <username>YOUR_USERNAME</username>
    <password>YOUR_PASSWORD</password>
</system>

After saving your changes, clear the application's config cache.

Beanstalkd

If you have installed Beanstalkd, the following config is required.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<system xmlns:config="http://www.jadu.co.uk/schema/config">
    <driver>beanstalkd</driver>
    <host>YOUR_HOST</host>
    <port>11300</port>
</system>

After saving your changes, clear the application's config cache.
