Before you begin
In order to import case information into your CXM account, you should first ensure you have the following:
- Permission to create cases, manage case forms and import case data
- Access to all case fields you wish to import data for
If you are importing cases that you plan to link to addresses, you will need either a valid UPRN for each address or the CXM Address reference (if the address already exists within CXM).
If you are importing cases that you plan to link to CXM Person records, you will need the CXM Person reference.
Case import process
Import cases into CXM by uploading a CSV file containing all of the required case information.
Cases are imported using a CXM Case Form. This gives you full control of what information is required to import a case. It also means that the same validation is applied to imported cases as is applied to those created anywhere else in the system.
Note: Rules
No rules are triggered upon case import. Rules with Case Created as a “When” are also not triggered.
