Existing Blue Badges Integrated Component

This component loads a drop down list of existing Blue Badge applications from the Blue Badge Service that match either of the terms entered in the fields Name and Postcode.

The integrated component will return:

  • Name - The name as entered
  • Postcode - The postcode as entered
  • Label - The label selected (see format below)
  • Badge Identifier - The ID of the badge in the Blue Badge Service

The label will be formatted as a combination of fields returned by the Blue Badge Service

Badge holder name (national insurance number), badge number, status, expiry date

The integrated component also includes an "Existing badge not present" option to allow the form to be branched or terminated, if the applicant already has a blue badge.

How to use:

  1. Open the page where you want to add the integrated component in the page builder, or creating a new one.

  2. Add the integrated component to the page. For more information on how to do this, see Adding a question to a page.

  3. Add this page into your form - see Adding pages.


We advise that this integrated component is only used on internal forms by staff with the necessary clearance to handle data of this nature.
