You can use the predefined logic type in XFP to add reusable formulae to your form. XFP provides a number of these, some of which integrate with third party systems to retrieve data. An example of this would the predefined logic to retrieve the status of a case in Jadu CXM. It is also possible to develop your own predefined formulae if you have programming experience in PHP - see the developer guide for more information on how to do this.
Using a predefined logic in your form
In your form, click Advanced > Logic in the top navigation bar (under the the form title).
Click Add Logic.
You will be taken to the logic designer, where you can build your logic.
Give your logic a name, so you can find it again later.
Choose Predefined as the type.
Choose a formula from the appearing list.
Some predefined formulae require inputs. If the formula you choose is one of them, more input fields will show. Complete these by specifying questions, variables or other logic formulae. Alternatively, choose one of the set options for the input field if provided.
NOTE You can enter manual text into most input fields, by typing in the search box and pressing the return key.
Click Save. You can now use this logic in your form.
