Creating a person
This action allows you to create a person record in CXM. If there is an existing person record with the same details, CXM will not create a duplicate.
In order to use this action, you'll need to create a template, which tells XFP how to send information about the person to Jadu CXM.
To do this:
Navigate to Templates in the top navigation bar (under the form title).
Click Create Template.
A popover will open, asking which type of action we want to create a template for. Choose Create Person under the Jadu CXM section, and click Next.
We'll then be taken to the template builder for this action.
It is also possible to access the template builder from within a rule, by choosing Create new... when selecting a template in a Then block.
Set the title of your template.
Provide the additional mappings necessary. You can map a question, variable or logic formulae for each one. Alternatively enter manual text by typing it into the search box for the field and pressing the return key.
Click Save to create the template.
To make this action fire when your form is filled in, you will need to add it to a rule - see Building a Rule.
Inviting the created person to register
XFP provides another template that's very similar to Create Person, called Invite User. This functions in exactly the same way; it creates a person record in CXM. However, it will also create a pending user account for that person, and email them to ask if they want to register for a proper account.
