The core ideology of Jadu
When Jadu began in 2001, we started with the idea that by making simple, beautiful technology, we can empower people to publish. As this idea evolved and indeed became our mission, Jadu CMS became a platform for innovation and powerful tools to empower ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Our mission:

Alongside seven prime directives or values, this simple mission became the core ideology of Jadu. Combined with a strategy to make content accessible to humans and machines - and lead the industry in building a semantic web.

Technology and the internet have taught us many things. We want to focus our effort in continuous delivery to ensure Jadu Universe Platform remains a powerful framework where designers, developers and business users can do amazing things. Our values distill into 6 core directives:

1. Conduct honest business
It is important that Jadu remains honest to itself and to its customers. For this reason the company holds the idea of Good Karma high in its belief and value system. Do good, honest business.
2. Never over-promise
Alongside the ideal of honesty, our business has had to learn how to set customer expectations. To educate ourselves on the needs of our users and deliver an outstanding result.
3. Deliver high quality software
We worship at the altar of testing. Like great design, it is a consideration from the outset and embedded in every practice. We ship great software that just works. That can only happen through a passion for test driven design and development. Test ideas, test design, test code.
4. Design with standards, semantics and with end users in mind
We want a web that works for everyone - no exceptions. We want to deliver to the best possible quality, in a way that works for our users. We want to build a web for the future, making clean, accessible and semantic code. Open data, APIs and an open and transparent design process that works for our users and the devices they choose to use.
5. Service user needs before our own to make better customers
Customer service becomes very simple and manageable when customers are overwhelmingly happy. Jadu's entire business model and brand are built upon our reputation with our customers. If this begins to crack and break - so too does the business and the core of Jadu - right down to the bottom line.
It is every Jadu employee's obligation to make better customers. To do at the very least - 1 good thing for a customer everyday. Empathy for our users and their needs is important - if not critical. It is only when we listen (really listen) to customers issues and technical support with empathy, do we start to begin to solve their problems and frustrations and make better customers.
6. Generate wealth
Jadu has a culture of enrichment and reward. Our fundamental being as a business centres on our users. They must be foremost in our minds. Alongside our users, are our team, our family. We will care for each other like we care for our users. Our objective is to build the best place to create and deliver great work - from the environment we work in to the products we deliver.
7. Mutual Trust & Respect
The foundations of great work and building anything as a team, are Trust and Respect. We will always respect faith, gender, race and sexual orientation. We will always respect each others valuable working time as well as the team's time- and our own time. We must always respect privacy. Above all, we must work to build and earn trust and put professionalism at the centre of everything we do.
