Transforming Swindon: A look back, and forward, at digital innovation

Join Swindon Borough Council and Jadu for a one-day event showcasing how partnership, purpose, and platforms are transforming public services.

Over the past decade, Swindon and Jadu have redefined digital delivery - modernising processes, building better resident experiences, and creating sustainable models for the future.

The day will feature powerful case studies, from building digital booking systems and streamlining 230+ processes to leading through the pandemic, and explore how Jadu Connect is helping councils deliver agile, citizen-first services. You’ll also hear directly from Swindon’s leadership team, including CEO Sam Mowbray, COO Sonia Grewal, and DDaT Director Stephen Lugg, alongside Suraj Kika, CEO of Jadu.

What are Open Days?

Open Days are an opportunity for Local Authorities to come together to network and share digital transformation successes.

We welcome all who are part of a local government organisation, but the open days are mainly for:

  • CIOs, senior leaders, service heads
  • Customer services managers
  • Digital and transformation managers

Collaborate, show and tell

We base our Connect Days around topics of relevance in Local Government and pair these topics with Authorities who have delivered digital transformation with measurable results or who have concrete plans to implement channel shift. 

These are usually half-day events, hosted in-person, and in the location of the Authority presenting.

Scottish Borders Council review its digital transformation results and reveals future plans, including exciting developments. The SBC team highlight projects that improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. They will demonstrate how citizens can access services through a single digital gateway for a more connected community.
