The latest Local Authorities to join the Jadu eGov partnership are Wellingborough Borough Council and North Warwickshire Borough Council.
Wellingborough BC will be starting the implementation of Jadu eGov
Content Server at the end of April. The initial application will be a
managed service, deployed onto a Debian Linux managed Jadu server -
similar to Kettering BC and the DTI.
Wellingborough will also be implementing a Jadu Intranet system onto Windows 2003 Server, hosted by Northamptonshire County Council.
North Warwickshire BC started their implementation this week and plan to launch in early June 05 - using the Jadu eGov fastrack implementation scheme.
They will be using Debian Linux for both Jadu eGov Internet and Jadu Intranet systems and will be making use of the Jadu Learning programme to help them manage the 'switch' to Linux form their current Windows server infrastructure.
North Warwickshire currently use a number of servers to power their existing CMS - these will be replaced by a single Linux powered Jadu eGov Server.

Wellingborough and North Warwickshire join Kettering, Burnley, Ribble Valley and Pendle and the DTI in the use of the Linux version of Jadu eGov Content Server, whilst Rugby BC have deployed both Internet and Intranet eGov systems on Windows Server 2003.
North Warwickshire BC are 'switching' to Jadu eGov from their previous non-compliant CMS. Implementing with the core software build, the new northwarks.gov.uk will feature fully compliant devolved CMS, personalised content delivery, online recruitment, online forms and a wealth of web management utilities.
Wellingborough BC will be implementing the core Jadu eGov build together with the Jadu eConsultation module - providing content management for interactive online consultations.
Jadu eConsultation was recently implemented for the Department of Trade and Industry's Offshore Renewable Energy Portal to help manage the consultations for licensing of Windfarms in the North Sea. Kettering BC also implemented eConsultation late last year.
